Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Guadalajara, Neurosurgery became his passion, so, after 13 years of preparation (including training in minimally invasive surgery of the spine in Frankfurt, Germany 🇩🇪 under the tutelage of Dr. Daniel Rosenthal), has dedicated the last 6 years to the private practice of his specialty, focusing mainly on problem solving, both conservative and surgical, in diseases that affect the brain and spine.
His main interests are the integrative management of diseases, minimally invasive surgery, including techniques such as the use of laser and endoscopy.
As part of his continuous preparation, he has attended national (Mexico) and international conferences (USA, Canada, Denmark, Indonesia, Nepal, China, Singapore, Germany) and for the last three years he has been invited as a speaker at conferences of recognized international societies ( NASS, ISMISS, ISS, WEDNS).
He is an active member of the Mexican Society of Neurological Surgery, and recently appointed as a representative of the state of Baja California Sur before said society.
Additionally, he is an active member of international societies: NASS (North American Spine Society), WEDNS (Walter E. Dandy Neurosurgical Society), AOSPINE Foundation, AANS (American Association of Neurological Surgeons).
He is currently the General Director of Neuro Spine & Pain Clinic Los Cabos, and has provided care to Mexican patients, both local and foreign (Mexico City, Jalisco, Sinaloa, Sonora, Baja California, Chiapas, Guanajuato, Querétaro), as well as coming from the USA and Canada.
