Graduated in Psychologist, graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City in 2019. She has dedicated the last 5 years to working in both the clinical and educational fields, providing support to children and adults in different contexts.
Her experience includes working with children in schools, as well as in foundations. She worked at the La Quinta Carmelita Foundation, following up on adoption processes for children in situations of abandonment or neglect and child abuse. Providing emotional support, play therapy, art, and psychometric evaluations to children. Following up on cases through interviews and preparation of clinical and psychometric reports for candidates interested in adopting.
She has had the opportunity to teach psychoeducational and sexuality workshops at the Casa de la Merced Foundation, where she served girls and adolescents who have suffered gender violence and sexual abuse. During her professional practices, Elena worked with children at the primary and secondary levels. , offering psychoeducational workshops, emotional support and managing medical records. Elena's passion for her work drives her to be in constant training and learning. She is currently training as a Psychotraumatologist at the Newman Institute, and is participating in diploma courses and conferences on thanatology, mindfulness, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and trauma-sensitive yoga. In addition, Elena is training in the EMDR model, which allows her to help people reprocess traumatic events and memories, achieving a state of security and emotional regulation, through bilateral stimulation.
