Graduated from the General Physician program at the Autonomous University of Baja California, Tijuana campus, she completed her studies in Internal Medicine at the National Medical Center of the Northwest in Cd. Obregón, Sonora to later pursue the subspecialty in Rheumatology at the General Hospital of Mexico. Eduardo Liceaga” in Mexico City, headquarters endorsed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and recognized worldwide for its research in Spondyloarthropathies, Crystal Arthropathies, Center of Excellence in the management of Rheumatoid Arthritis, with study clinics for diseases of connective tissue such as: Lupus, Systemic Sclerosis and Systemic Vasculitis.
Its Rheumatology studies have been endorsed by the National Autonomous University of Mexico, achieving the number one position in the second year of evaluation compared to the rest of the campuses. She is an honorary member of the Mexican College of Rheumatology and has participated in different refresher courses; Among which the National Congresses of Rheumatology, pre-congress courses in the modality of musculoskeletal ultrasound and connective tissue diseases stand out.
He has obtained 2 current certifications from the Mexican Council of Rheumatology, and is undergoing training from the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) for the detection, treatment and management of connective tissue diseases. He is part of different specialization courses in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine in the state, sharing his knowledge in the area of Rheumatology with residents in training.
In his private practice, his main interest is the integrative management of rheumatic diseases and avoiding or reducing the impact they have on people's quality of life.
Her favorite hobbies are: diving, observing marine life, doing yoga and reading.
